What causes Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD/ADHD)?

ADHD is caused by a dysregulation of the frontal lobes which we use to pay attention, filter out distractions, and maintain self-control. The frontal lobes are functioning too slowly due to excess slow electricity and lack of blood flow and metabolism, or too rapidly due to an excess of fast electricity and excessive blood flow and metabolism. Research has continuously demonstrated that brain-electricity is abnormal over the frontal lobes and stimulates abnormal amounts of the neurotransmitter dopamine. This is inherited and passed on to 57% of the offspring unless both parents had ADHD and 85% will inherit it.
